Xbox One Launches with Battlefield 4: Second Assault Timed Exclusive DLC

Deciding between an Xbox One or PS4? Microsoft are looking to win you over with their usual timed-exclusive DLC, this time for Battlefield 4.

According to VideoGamer, EA has confirmed that Battlefield 4: Second Assault, the game’s first DLC package, will be available on the day of Xbox One’s launch (November 22nd). This DLC is timed exclusive and won’t be available for other platforms, including PS4, until a later date.

Below are the fan-favorite Battlefield maps included with Second Assault:

  • Operation Metro
  • Gulf of Oman
  • Operation Firestorm
  • Caspian Border

While Operation Metro (as seen in Battlefield 3‘s beta), Operation Firestorm, and Caspian Border were top-played maps in Battlefield 3, Gulf of Oman was the number one map in Battlefield 2. As such, this is a must-own map pack that gives Xbox One an edge for fans of the series.

Xbox One will also be receiving all four of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ planned DLC packs earlier than any other platform. Typically, other platforms receive these packages around two-months later.
