Bong Joon Ho’s Massive Sci-Fi Movie After Parasite Is Headed to New Streaming Home

Bong Joon Ho and Robert Pattinson’s ambitious sci-fi adventure is finally making its way to streaming, giving audiences another chance to experience its strange, unpredictable world. Fans who missed the movie during its theatrical run can soon watch it from home.

Mickey 17 is coming to Hulu next month

Hulu subscribers can watch Mickey 17 starting Nov. 23, 2026, according to Hulu‘s November streaming schedule. So, the fans who missed watching the 2025 movie in theatres have another opportunity to catch it.

Robert Pattinson headlines the movie as Mickey Barnes, a worker who signs up for life-threatening jobs on a mission to settle a frozen world. But things go off the rails when one Mickey survives a procedure that creates his replacement.

Now, two versions of the same guy must face off, putting the colony’s rules to the test. Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo join Pattinson in the cast. Bong Joon Ho serves as both writer and director, bringing Edward Ashton’s novel Mickey7 to the big screen.

Warner Bros. Pictures brought the project to theaters, with Plan B Entertainment, Offscreen and Kate Street Picture Company backing the production. Bong teamed up with Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Dooho Choi to produce the film.

However, the movie’s box office run wasn’t impressive. The film reportedly cost $118 million to make and collected around $133.5 million worldwide, which isn’t a lot when theaters take their cut. The movie also reportedly had an $80 million marketing budget, and thus struggled to deliver a strong theatrical return.

Critics gave the movie a warmer welcome than its box office numbers. Rotten Tomatoes shows a 77% critics’ score and a 73% audience score, while IMDb users land on a 6.7 out of 10 rating. Fans can dig its gloriously unhinged camp, razor-sharp satire, and bonkers moments, fused with themes of corporate greed and political madness. Pattinson delivers an engaging performance as two versions of the same cloned character.
