Chris Pratt gives update on The Terminal List Season 3
Chris Pratt teased the future of The Terminal List during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Shade 45 ahead of Season 2’s premiere on Prime Video. The actor hinted at a potential third season while discussing the show with host D-Stroy. He pointed to the wealth of material still available from author Jack Carr’s book series.
“There’s no shortage of source material,” Pratt said during the interview (via Men’s Journal). Carr has written eight James Reece novels, giving the production team plenty of stories to adapt. Pratt acknowledged that nothing has been officially announced by Amazon yet.
“I think success in this season would certainly be helpful to continue to tell these stories,” Pratt said. “There’s nothing official yet, but man, we have a lot of ideas.” Costar Tom Hopper also shared his hopes for the show’s future. He told Men’s Journal he wants the series to adapt Savage Son, the third book in Carr’s series. “I want to make Savage Son,” Hopper said. “I think Savage Son has a story.”
Pratt expressed deep commitment to the franchise beyond just a third season. In a separate interview with ComingSoon, Pratt revealed his long-term vision for the character. “James Reece’s last mission is going to be he’s going to eat a steak without his dentures in,” he joked. “Sorry, Amazon, this is for life.”
Pratt also teased multiple spin-off projects based on supporting characters from the series. He mentioned Cry Havoc and the Dark Wolf prequel as potential stories worth exploring. “I think there’s a lot of these supporting characters that deserve their own stories,” Pratt said. He specifically expressed curiosity about the Hastings family and their ranch.
Season 2 follows Reece on a globe-trotting mission stretching from Langley to Moscow. All eight episodes are now streaming on Prime Video.
