One is an established killer whose reputation stretches back decades, while the other has emerged as a new source of fear across New York. Dexter must navigate the threat posed by both figures as he faces a personal midlife crisis, adding another challenge to his already complicated life.
Harrison Morgan is also determined to pursue justice on his own terms. His decision creates further tension in his relationship with Dexter, leaving the father and son facing their own unresolved difficulties alongside the dangers surrounding them.
Hall returns as Dexter, with Thurman reprising her role as Charley. Jack Alcott is back as Harrison Morgan, and David Zayas returns as Angel Batista. The new season also adds Brian Cox as the New York Ripper and Dan Stevens as the Five Borough Killer. Desmond Harrington, who plays Joey Quinn, has been promoted to series regular for this chapter.
Thurman’s return follows her involvement in other projects connected to serial-killer stories, including Jennifer 8 and The House That Jack Built. Her role as Charley remains part of the expanding Dexter: Resurrection storyline.
