Enola Holmes 3 opened with a huge win on Netflix. But another film has already climbed past it on streaming charts. The mystery sequel launched at No. 1 with impressive viewership. Days later, however, a critically acclaimed modern Western has overtaken it on the latest U.S. streaming rankings.
Old Henry is trending higher than Enola Holmes 3 on Netflix streaming charts
According to the latest U.S. Netflix rankings published by FlixPatrol, Old Henry now sits at No. 1, pushing Enola Holmes 3 down to second place. The Western has also climbed ahead of titles including White Chicks, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Voicemails for Isabelle and The Boss Baby, giving the five-year-old film a fresh surge in popularity.
The strong showing comes shortly after Enola Holmes 3 enjoyed an impressive debut. Netflix previously reported that the Millie Bobby Brown-led sequel opened with 20.7 million views during its first tracking week, easily topping the platform’s English-language movie chart. Despite that early momentum, the latest daily rankings suggest viewers are now gravitating toward a very different kind of story.
Old Henry, directed by Potsy Ponciroli, begins with a simple setup that quickly turns into something much bigger. A widowed farmer and his teenage son take in a wounded man who is carrying a bag stuffed with cash. Before long, a group of armed men shows up, claiming they’re lawmen and demanding the money back.
As the tension builds, the farmer unexpectedly proves he’s far more dangerous than he appears, leaving everyone wondering who he really is. The cast includes Tim Blake Nelson, Stephen Dorff, Scott Haze, Gavin Lewis, Trace Adkins, and Richard Speight Jr.
Released in 2021, Old Henry earned strong reviews from both critics and audiences. It holds a 94% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and a solid 7.3/10 rating on IMDb. Fans have praised its slow-burning tension, grounded storytelling, and Nelson’s understated lead performance, while its twist-filled finale helped the film develop a loyal following long after its theatrical release.
