Sadie Sink’s Huge Movie Deal After Spider-Man 4 Revealed by Report

Sadie Sink is all set to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Spider-Man 4: Brand New Day, hitting theaters this summer. While her role in the highly anticipated movie remains a closely guarded secret, rumors point to her possibly essaying X-Men mutant and telepath, Jean Grey. Now, a new report has surfaced, suggesting the actress has a big future ahead of her in the constantly expanding superhero franchise.

How many Marvel movies Sadie Sink has signed revealed by new rumor

Notable industry scooper, MyTimetoShineHello, shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Sadie Sink has signed on to appear in five MCU movies. They also said that the Stranger Things alum’s deal with Marvel includes the option to appear in television shows.

Sink’s next MCU appearance after Spider-Man: Brand New Day is reportedly Avengers: Secret Wars, according to Deadline.

While Marvel has not confirmed if Sink is Jean Grey in Spider-Man 4, Jeff Sneider, who reported she would be playing the X-Men member months ago but retracted his claims amid conflicting reports, said on The Hot Mic podcast, “It’s true. I hear that she is, in fact, playing Jean Grey.”

Recently, some new rumored details about Jean Grey’s powers in Brand New Day emerged. Scooper Cryptic HD Quality compared their depiction in the film to that of Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm/Invisible Woman powers in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

They alleged that, unlike previous cinematic versions of Grey, her powers would have “a new visual flair” and involve “more VFX.” Further, the insider said that the visuals of her powers would mirror her X-Men ’97 counterpart.

Cryptic HD Quality also clarified that they didn’t know what the colors of her power would be. This was after a fan complained about the possibility of her powers being blue like in X-Men ’97 instead of pink. Further, they claimed that Sink’s iteration of Grey was described to them as a “time-displaced” version.

Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31, 2026. Destin Daniel Cretton directed it from Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers’ screenplay.

Besides Sink, the movie stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, among others.
