Fox’s upcoming reboot of the Baywatch series continues to expand its cast, having now added a social media influencer/model to the mix. The highly anticipated revival of the 90s’ fan-favorite drama has recruited a host of internet celebrities so far, with Livvy Dunne becoming the latest name to join the lineup.
Livvy Dunne joins Fox’s Baywatch reboot cast in recurring role
Former competitive gymnast Livvy Dunne, who has also modelled for Sports Illustrated’s popular swimsuit issues, will make her acting debut with Fox’s Baywatch reboot (via Deadline).
In the revival series, Dunne will take on the recurring role of Grace, a zealous, full-of-life junior lifeguard. Notably, the popular model, who boasts a social media following of over 13 million, had recently revealed her plans for transitioning into the entertainment industry. Dunne noted that she had been undergoing acting lessons and had already charted out a path in film and TV for herself following her retirement from artistic gymnastics in April 2025.
Prior to her switch, the 23-year-old social media star represented Louisiana State University in the sport and even earned a call-up to the US Junior Women’s National Team. She also featured in The Money Game: LSU docuseries, which documented the journey of several LSU Tiger student-athletes.
Dunne joins the Baywatch reboot cast along with fellow internet sensations Brooks Nader and Noah Beck. Arrow’s Stephen Amell will be leading the Fox series as Hobie Buchannon, with a supporting cast that includes Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, and David Chokachi, who will once again take on the mantle of Cody Madison from the original show.
Currently on track to premiere during the 2026-2027 season, the Baywatch reboot will follow the rebellious Hobie (Amell), who follows in the footsteps of his father, Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff), to become the elite lifeguard division’s captain. In the reboot, Hobie’s life will hit a curveball when he reunites with his daughter, Charlie (Belkin), who is adamant on furthering the Buchannon legacy.
