Alongside the trailer, the streaming giant shared stills from the upcoming season and its official poster on social media.

Production on Season 3 began on November 4, 2024, and wrapped up three months later on February 7, 2025.

In an interview with Pedestrian.TV last year, Will McDonald, who plays Ca$h in the series, teased that Season 3 would be the “craziest” out of the three seasons. While he didn’t divulge any major details, he promised that it would be “an emotional roller coaster.”

“I think hopefully people will be really happy with the way that we say goodbye to this cast of characters,” he added.

The logline for Season 3 reads, “It’s time for Hartley High’s graduating class to say ‘goodbye’ to school, and ‘hello’ to adulthood! Yet when a revenge prank goes horribly wrong, Amerie and her friends must cover up their secret or risk losing everything.”

Heartbreak High is produced by Fremantle Australia and NewBe. Hannah Carroll Chapman created the series while Sarah Freeman and Anna Curtis produced it. Carly Heaton and Megan Palinkas are executive producers on the show with the latter also serving as a writer.

Season 3 will see Ayesha Madon, James Majoos, Chloé Hayden, Asher Yasinbeck, Thomas Weatherall, and Will McDonald reprise their roles. Further cast members include Gemma Chua-Tran, Bryn Chapman Parish, Sherry-Lee Watson, Brodie Townsend, and Rachel House. Rounding out the ensemble are Chika Ikogwe, Kartanya Maynard, Aki Munroe, Ioane Sa’ula, Ben Turland, and William McKenna.
