All Seasons of Beloved Legal Comedy Series Are Leaving Netflix

A popular TNT comedy-legal drama will depart from Netflix next month, giving viewers less than four weeks to watch it. Starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer, Franklin & Bash was widely praised for its balance of comedy and witty courtroom drama that ran for four seasons.

Franklin & Bash to leave Netflix in March 2026

All four seasons of TNT’s Franklin & Bash are leaving Netflix on March 1, 2026 (via What’s on Netflix).

The decision to remove the series is part of the streaming giant’s monthly cycle of delisting titles due to expiring licensing agreements. Interestingly, the show had arrived only a few months ago, on September 1, 2025.

Over the course of its four-year run, the show received fairly mixed reviews. Currently, it holds a 61% Tomatometer score and 87% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes. On Metacritic, the show scored 58 based on 24 critic reviews, and sits at a comfortable 7.3 based on 65 user ratings.

Created by Bill Chais and Kevin Falls, Franklin & Bash originally aired on TNT from 2011 to 2014. It stars Breckin Meyer as Jared Franklin and Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Peter Bash, two street-smart lawyers and lifelong friends.

After defeating an elite lawyer from Infeld Daniels, its co-founder, Stanton Infeld, played by Malcolm McDowell, seemingly impressed with their tactics, hires them at the firm to revive their struggling practice.

The series also features Dana Davis, Kumail Nanjiani, Reed Diamond, Garcelle Beauvais, Heather Locklear, Rhea Seehorn, and Toni Trucks, among others, in prominent roles.

Franklin & Bash debuted on June 1, 2011, drawing an impressive 2.7 million viewers, per Deadline. Given the strong performance, TNT renewed the show at the end of subsequent seasons.

However, by Season 4, the viewership had dropped nearly 32%, despite a dedicated fan base (via The Wrap). Ultimately, the significant drop in viewership led TNT to cancel the series in 2014.

Viewers have until the end of this month to watch the 40-episode series.
