Rob Rausch ‘Said No Twice’ To Joining The Traitors Season 4 Cast

Rob Rausch reveals why he rejected The Traitors Season 4 offer twice before joining

In a recent interview, Rob Rausch, who is currently competing in The Traitors Season 4, shared why he initially refused to participate in the show twice. “I said no twice. I didn’t really want to be on TV again, but I love games, and I love competing,” the 27-year-old told E! News.

Before appearing on the Peacock reality competition, Rausch appeared on Love Island USA for two consecutive years. He took part in the dating competition in Season 5 in 2023 and Season 6 in 2024, which seemingly made him hesitant to sign on for yet another reality series.

However, he ultimately changed his mind after comparing The Traitors to his favorite reality show, CBS’s Survivor. “I have never watched any reality [TV] other than Survivor, and I thought this was kind of a similar vibe,” he explained. “I was like, ‘You know what? This could be really fun.”

The reality TV star also added that he had never visited Scotland, where the show is filmed. So, taking part in the competition allowed him to visit the country. “I was like, ‘Let’s just do it. Let’s go to the castle and see what happens,’” he recalled thinking at the time.

Born on September 1, 1998, in Florence, Alabama, Rausch is also known for his passion for handling snakes. He describes himself as a “snake athlete” on his Instagram, where his page features several photos of him handling snakes in the wild.

According to Rausch, his obsession with snakes is often the only thing that can convince him to travel. “I mean, it can be tough to get me out of this state, not gonna lie. Other than for snakes, of course. I enjoy going to other countries for snakes, but I don’t know. We’ll see,” he said.
