Fox’s Memory of a Killer Series Gets New Trailer & Release Date

Patrick Dempsey‘s upcoming series, Memory of a Killer, gets a brand new trailer, giving fans a glimpse into what they can expect from the crime thriller. The trailer also gives a deeper look at Dempsey’s character, who struggles with Alzheimer’s while continuing his work as a hitman. The series will see a two-day premiere, with the first episode coming out in the final week of January 2026.

Produced by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment, Memory of a Killer gets a new trailer, giving fans a look at Patrick Dempsey as a hitman. As the trailer features high-octane action sequences and showcases intense drama, captions appearing between the scenes read, “One man, two lives, and a mind he can’t trust.”

The series, inspired by the the 2003 award-winning Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer, follows Angelo, who lives two separate lives. He lives one life as an NYC hitman, and another as an upstate Cooperstown photocopier salesman and father.

However, as he develops early onset Alzheimer’s, he must deal with his condition, as well as both his lives clashing. Meanwhile, when things couldn’t seem to get worse, a secret from the past from the past threatens his family’s safety.

Earlier this year, when FOX announced the series, Michael Thorn, President of FOX Television Network, said, “Memory of a Killer is a propulsive series with a noisy, unrelenting character hook that immediately grabbed our attention.”

Thorn continued, “In the spirit of 24 and House, we’re introducing a daring new signature FOX lead, a complicated antihero facing unimaginable danger. We’re excited to bring this gripping new thriller to life alongside our long-standing partners at Warner Bros.”

The series will debut with a two-night premiere, with the first episode airing on FOX on January 25, 2026, before becoming available to stream the following day on Hulu.
