What a punch in the gut. Today the world lost a television and comedy icon. Bob Saget, the star of Full House and America’s Funniest Home Videos was found dead on Sunday in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. Word on the cause of death is unknown at this time but the world is reeling from the news.
If you grew up in the 80s and 90s, Bob Saget was a staple of your household. Be it Full House, or America’s Funniest Home Videos, Bob graced your TV screen more than a time or two. Danny Tanner was a Dad to those who grew up in the TGIF era, wholesome and supportive. It wasn’t until the movie Half Baked hit that most of us learned of the true Bob Saget, and were delighted to find out his humor would carry us through our adulthood as well.
