Sansa Stark Won’t Date Actors, Says She’s In The “Worst X-Men So Far”

I’m way too fragile right now to discuss my mixed feelings on that “hold the door” bullshit, so here’s a post about another Game Of Thrones character a lot of people wish had died in S1, Sansa Stark. I mean, Sophie Turner. You’re gonna have to be “Sansa” for a while, because I’m still mourning this Sophie Turner. But about your interview in UK InStyle:

On the pressure that stems from being in the public eye…

‘…When people started to know my name, as well as the character’s name, that was kind of difficult. From 16 to when I turned 19, they were quite hard years. You’re in the prime of puberty; your body is changing, your face is changing, and people still saw me as that 13-year-old girl, with no body, and thought that’s how I should look forever. So, growing up and having my body transform, and my hormones, and people watching and commenting on that – that was tricky. Even my friends were having a hard time with that stuff…’.

We all know what that means, let’s skip ahead. My heartfelt condolences to the guys she now refers to as “friends”.

On being self critical…

‘This is going to be the worst X-Men so far, because I’m in it. When you’re outside something, you think, “That is amazing, I would love to be in that.” But when you are in it, you think, “Is this going to be any good?’”

X-Men: Apocalypse currently has a 49% , so if it makes her feel any better, we can say it’s the 8th best X-Men movie.  It’s all about how you frame it.

On not dating the guys in the industry…

‘I’ve never dated anyone who I didn’t know before or who’s in the industry. I think that’s quite a conscious decision because the lifestyles wouldn’t work. This profession is so different to any other; the going away for long amounts of time – I think it would just be really difficult. If you meet on a job, it’s amazing. You have five months together and it’s incredible. Then, once it’s over, suddenly one of you is shooting in Australia and the other one is shooting in Spain, and you never know when you’re going to see each other again, but at least you both understand it’.

We also know what that means, so if you’re an actor, be sure to submit for whatever she’s gonna be in. Don’t wanna miss out on all that “amazing” and “incredible”. Just don’t call your face “the Iron Throne”. Don’t do that.
