Sydney Scores Mural Of Bride-To-Be Tony Abbott Giving Cardinal Pell A Wristy To Toast SSM ‘Yes’ Vote

Sydney street artist Scott Marsh has struck again, gifting Newtown with a spectacularly horrifying new mural in honour of today’s life-affirming majority ‘Yes’ vote on marriage equality.

His fresh masterpiece features ex-Prime Minister and notorious ‘No’ campaign gum-flapper Tony Abbott dressed as a blushing bride-to-be on her hens night, sipping a bottle of Penfolds Grange (disgraced ex-NSW liberal Premier Bazza O’Fazza’s favie) through a d*ck straw and giving a ripped AF male stripper — who bears a striking resemblance to accused child sex offender Cardinal George Pell — a sneaky wristy.

It seems Scottie has become quite enamoured with old Tone, with the onion-chomping ex liberal leader forming the muse for his last two major street pieces (the last one featured a wedding dress-clad Tony marrying himself).

Although this latest work starring the former PM jerking Australia’s most senior Catholic could very likely be Marsh’s most controversial (and savage) to date.

It’s definitely bound to scandalise the homophobes responsible for trashing his iconic LGBTQ+ community shrine to late pop legend George Michael during the same-sex marriage campaign (although that’s very likely the point here).

Dubbed The Happy Ending, you can cop a squiz at Marsh’s new jumbo portrait IRL at the rear of King Street’s iconic Botany View Hotel, or behold it in all of its d*ck-grabbing glory, below.
