“Bikini Streamer” Zoie Burgher Ordered to Stop by Futurama Owners FOX

Zoie Burgher, a prominent YouTuber who calls herself a “bikini streamer” due to her being known for playing games while wearing her bikini (duh), has been sent a cease and desist order by none other than FOX for using the image of Futurama character Zoidberg.

Zoidberg, the hapless lobster alien from the hit TV show, has been a staple of Zoie Burgher’s streams throughout her controversial online career, which has seen her banned on Twitch before moving to her new home of YouTube. With only 16 videos to her name, Zoie has already managed to attract over 500,000 subscribers, but her streams also caught the eye of FOX who promptly reprimanded her for using Zoidberg in her videos.

Zoidberg can be seen in Zoie’s overlays throughout each of her recorded live streams on YouTube, with Zoie claiming on Twitter that FOX are seeking “150,000 dollars for each video and tweet mentioning [Zoidberg], adding that the broadcaster’s lawsuit could cost her $1.2 million in total if they choose to pursue it. “You know you’re doing something right when TV monoliths (@foxtv) is trying to personally hand you Ls,” Zoie tweeted, adding: “I’m about to fair-use the FUCK out of you @foxnation.”

The images of Zoidberg can no longer be seen on Zoie’s broadcasts, with her having now seemingly removed them from her overlays:

She has also began referencing Zoidberg as “#CharacterNameRedactedbyFox” on Twitter, where she has nearly 90,000 followers.

But although Zoie has made moves to remove Zoidberg from her new videos, his images can still be seen on her 15 older videos, some of which have nearly 2 million views. It’s imaginable that if the details regarding this cease and desist order are correct, Zoie will be forced to remove these old videos as a result.
