This Bare-Handed Line Drive Grab May Be Catch Of The Year

Brady Bowen is a minor league pitcher you’ve never heard of. But you may be seeing his viral video soon if you haven’t already.

The 24-year-old St. Louis Cardinals pitching prospect throws for the Single-A New York-Penn League State College Spikes. He was having a rough outing until he redeemed himself with this shocking catch in the 8th inning — a bare-handed snatch off a line-drive.

It’s unreal. And it hurts just watching it.

Just listen to the sound of that ball hit his hand. This dude has super human bone density.

Here’s another angle of the play that made Sportscenter’s Top 10

Nice grab, Brady. Kids, don’t do what he did.

The hit came off Indians prospect Gavin Collins’ bat. I’m sure he would like to have that one back.
