Last week’s episode of Hell on Wheels seemed to close the loop on Thomas Durant. And for once, we got a glimpse into the future as Durant died poor and alone several years after the trans-continental railroad race was over. For Durant’s obviously fake abduction, he got only a fraction of the money that he needed. And all it cost him was Maggie’s life and what little was left of his soul.
Cullen Bohannon didn’t appear at all in the previous episode, but there’s still hope that he could find happiness in this life. He’s made a lot of mistakes over the years and lost two wives: one to the war, and one to another man. Now, Cullen has found some measure of love with Mei, even though she still has to pretend to be a young man to work on the railroad. But how long can she keep her secret? Probably not long at all!
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from the next Hell on Wheels, Cullen and Mei realize that her deception is on the verge of being exposed. And they are definitely not on the same page about how to handle it.
