Chris Harrison Seemingly Thinks ‘The Bachelor’ Is Jealous of His Comeback

Chris Harrison is pushing back at the legal threats against his upcoming dating series, “The Vow”. He believes that his former franchise may be taking his comeback personally. “The Bachelor star is now responding to Warner Bros. Television’s cease-and-desist letter. He made some sharp remarks about jealousy and attention around his new show.

As reported by Entertainment Now, Harrison has reacted to Warner Bros cease-and-desist letter. The latter happens to be the studio behind “The Bachelor”. The dispute started with a promotional teaser for “The Vow”. It featured Harrison stepping over a red rose accompanied by the line, “Roses fade, true love lasts forever.”

Reportedly, Warner Bros. reacted badly to the teaser. They have argued that the promotional material draws heavily from “The Bachelor”. The studio described the teaser as a “direct copy” of “The Bachelor’s” promotional material.

Harrison, however, steered the focus to jealousy as an instrumental factor behind the legal action. “Sounds like somebody misses somebody really bad,” he said. “Jealousy’s a tough thing. Green’s not a great color on anybody, is it?”

Harrison is wondering why his show was singled out among other similar programs. Speaking to USA Today, Harrison said, “I don’t see them going after the 50, 60, 70 other relationship dating shows that have come on in the time that I was there or since I left.”

“There’s been one show that they’ve gone after. Is that a coincidence? You be the judge,” he added.

Harrison is not without supporters. Fox Nation, for instance, has claimed that the red rose imagery is not exclusive to “The Bachelor”. Conversely, the network’s legal team has accused the studio of targeting Harrison in a “malicious and vindictive manner.”

Harrison left The Bachelor franchise in 2021 after controversy surrounding his defence of contestant Rachael Kirkconnell. He is now making a career comeback with the new dating show.
