‘Special Forces’ Stars Face Terrifying Ordeal as Mission Goes Wrong

Special Forces contestants David Charvet and Matt Barnes face a frightening situation during their latest challenge. The pair become trapped in quicksand after heavy rainfall creates dangerous conditions. Their struggle unfolds in an exclusive preview of the show’s upcoming episode.

In an exclusive clip shared by Us Weekly, Charvet, 54, and Barnes struggle to escape the quicksand. The narrator explains that heavy rain caused the dangerous conditions. However, the situation quickly becomes more difficult as their movements cause them to sink further.

Charvet describes the ground as a “trap” while attempting to free himself. “Every time I move, I slip back down,” he says. He also wonders whether his backpack is making the situation worse.

The Special Forces quicksand challenge leaves both contestants struggling to find a safe way out. Their attempts to move only seem to worsen their predicament. Eventually, the pair blow their whistles to call for assistance.

The preview ends without revealing how Charvet and Barnes escape the quicksand. The incident highlights the physical risks facing recruits on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

Season 5 has already seen its lineup of contestants shrink. Earlier this month, former NFL player LeSean McCoy withdrew from the competition after struggling to adjust to the demanding conditions.

McCoy had previously expressed his reluctance to use the show’s outdoor bathroom facilities. “I’m not s***ting outside,” he told fellow contestants. He later repeated that concern when informing the Directing Staff of his departure.

Speaking to Us Weekly, McCoy explained how the environment affected him. “Obviously the missions and tasks were hard, but it’s the stuff you’re not prepared for,” McCoy explained. He said the unfamiliar surroundings proved especially challenging.

The latest challenge gives Charvet and Barnes another difficult obstacle to overcome as they compete on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Viewers will have to watch the episode to learn how their ordeal unfolds.
