The three-time Grammy winner took to Instagram Stories on October 20 to explain her situation. She wrote, “I have been fighting sickness throughout this run of shows and have now completely lost my voice.” She further stated, “I put absolutely everything I have into my performances, both physically and emotionally, and it breaks me that I can’t be with you tomorrow.”

Charli XCX shared that her team had worked hard to arrange another date for the show, but was unable to do so. She expressed her disappointment and assured fans that she would return to Arizona in the future. She continued, “Again, I’m sorry to the angels who had made plans to be there tomorrow. I know how much time, planning, and care it takes to come to concerts and appreciate everyone’s support immensely.”

The 365 hitmaker also confirmed that she would perform at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on October 23 as originally planned. She concluded by saying, “I am now resting ahead of the final show in Vegas this Friday. I want to be back onstage and finish this tour together with you. Love you all x Charli.”

Charli kicked off her tour at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Pennsylvania on September 11. The tour’s final show is scheduled for February 24, 2027, at the Accor Arena in Paris, France. Before the Arizona cancellation, she had performed in Los Angeles on October 17 and 18 and in San Diego on October 14. Her other U.S. stops included New York City, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
