Southern Charm star Craig Conover is eager to become a father. However, he is particular about some details of his future. The reality star revealed his ideal timeline for traveling, getting married and having children. He also reflected on being single at 37.
Craig Conover reveals his ideal timeline for marriage and children
Speaking on the Oct. 15 episode of the “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast, Conover revealed that he wanted to experience the world with a partner before starting a family.
“My ideal situation would be to meet someone, travel the world with them for like a year, and then get married, and then after we did everything, bring babies into it and travel with them,” he said.
Conover admitted that seeing small children while traveling fueled his own desire to become a father. “Like, I get baby fever the most in airports, like seeing the little kids run around,” he added. “I would love to have a big family.”
The reality star also revealed that his friends’ children are “always welcome” at his home. He confirmed that he loves spending time with them.
Although he is currently single, Conover revealed that he is looking forward to achieving a work-life balance. He also spoke about wanting to find a suitable partner to start a family with. Speaking to Bravo Insider, he said that his fatherhood ambitions will be discussed in the upcoming 12th season of the Bravo show.
“I think the viewers will get to see a 38-year-old who would love to have a family one day, and share his life with [a family] one day, starting to face these challenges of like, do you settle because you want a family?” he explained.
“Or do you keep living your life hoping it will work out or that you’ll find your person?” he continued.
Conover previously dated Summer House star Paige DeSorbo from 2021 to 2024. During their relationship, he was already considering fatherhood. He revealed on the show in January 2025 that he had frozen his sperm.
