Halle Berry listed her Sunset Strip mansion for $11.995 million as her legal dispute with ex-husband Olivier Martinez continued. The property hit the market only days after Martinez sought a temporary restraining order and primary custody of their 13-year-old son, Maceo.
The timing connected Berry’s latest real estate move with an increasingly contentious custody battle. However, the supplied source did not say the legal dispute caused her decision to sell the home.

As per TMZ, Berry placed the five-bedroom, six-bathroom property on the market earlier this month. The 5,900-square-foot residence dates back to 1926 and sits on more than 25,000 square feet of land.
The Halle Berry house for sale includes three separate structures. The property features a three-bedroom main residence, a guest house and an additional studio. It also offers a massage room, gym, pool, spa and bar with a kitchenette.
Outdoor features include a fire pit, pizza oven, shaded dining spaces and a meditation garden. Richard Ehrlich of Carolwood Estates holds the $11.995 million listing. The sale came as Berry and Martinez continued their custody dispute over Maceo. Martinez recently filed for primary custody and requested a temporary restraining order against Berry.
Martinez alleged that Berry choked their son during an argument involving a virtual reality video game. Berry denied attacking Maceo and accused Martinez of presenting a misleading version of events.
The legal battle later took another turn when a judge allowed Maceo to testify during an upcoming custody hearing. According to the supplied source, his testimony will remain limited to the request for a restraining order.
The Sunset Strip property also carries history connected to Berry’s past relationships. In 2012, the home became the site of a Thanksgiving Day fight between Martinez and Berry’s former boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.
Berry’s decision to sell now marked another significant change while her dispute with Martinez remained before the court. Still, the source did not establish any direct connection between the mansion listing and the custody proceedings.
