Taylor Frankie Paul’s Ex Is Not Happy About Her ‘Mormon Wives’ Move

Doug Mason has accused Taylor Frankie Paul of disclosing a personal voicemail on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’. The former “The Bachelorette” couple’s breakup is making waves again as Mason revealed that the scene felt like a violation.

Doug Mason says Taylor Frankie Paul’s private voice note felt like a violation

Mason addressed the matter on the Oct. 14 episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast. He recalled that he had asked Paul to maintain a three-day communication break after their engagement ended.

“I told her that I wanted a three-day break of talking, [but] I’ll be honest, how violating,” Mason, 29, said. “For Taylor to play a voice note that I sent to her specifically when I was in the thick of that emotion? No, you wouldn’t do that.”

Mason and Paul met on the sets of the now-cancelled season of “The Bachelorette”. The two became engaged during the finale. However, their relationship unraveled soon after the filming was completed in January. Following the breakup, Paul returned to Utah to begin filming the fifth season of Mormon Wives’.

Paul reportedly played Mason’s private voicemail to costar Jessi Draper. The scene showed the women mocking Mason’s message. Though Mason has not watched it, he appears to be deeply affected by the incident.

“This is where I start to recognize that it was all for the good of my life to not be with Taylor,” he said. “I’m really grateful for the way things transpired. Yes, it was emotionally exhausting. Sure, it took a toll on me psychologically for a few months.”

Mason also said that he declined to appear on Mormon Wives’, while trying to figure out where his relationship with Paul stood at that point.

“While she was filming, I was doing nothing. I didn’t know if I was in a relationship or not, didn’t know if I had a fiancée,” he said. He described spending his time attending church, running, skiing, praying and journaling.

Mason’s comments follow a string of previous revelations about his relationship with Paul. He previously spoke of a difficult conversation he had with Paul’s ex-husband, Tate Paul.
