Selena Gomez had an unexpected beauty moment during her latest public appearance in Beverly Hills, California. The Only Murders in the Building star caught people’s attention after stepping out wearing a face mask.

The Daily Mail reported that the 34-year-old singer, who rose to fame as a teen star playing Alex Russo on the hit sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place, was photographed leaving an establishment on October 7. The Award-winning singer was spotted while wearing what appeared to be a sheet mask. She further concealed her face with a black mask covering the lower half and a pair of sunglasses. For the low-key outing, Gomez kept things comfortable in a loose, fuzzy cream-colored sweater and oversized dark sweatpants.
The outing comes just days after Gomez celebrated her first wedding anniversary with Benny Blanco. To celebrate the occasion, she shared a black-and-white photograph of herself and Blanco via Instagram Stories. Gomez and Blanco tied the knot on September 27, 2025, at a private estate in Santa Barbara, California. The couple got engaged in December 2024 after dating for about a year.
The outing also follows her recent interview with People, as earlier reported, in which she said fans still want her to look the way she did in 2016. The multi-million-dollar Rare Beauty founder, who became the most-followed person on Instagram in 2023, said, “Getting older has been so much fun. I’m not scared at all.”
The singer, who recently got honored with the inaugural Beauty Impact Award for her efforts in mental health advocacy, further expressed, “I love getting older. Yeah, things are going to change, and things are going to sag, but you’re alive… I think age is just a number in many ways.” Gomez added that she is not looking back and feels happy with who she is today.
