RM has addressed fans who have been gathering outside the group’s hotel for extended periods during their South American tour. The BTS leader urged them to be considerate of other hotel guests, saying, “We are causing great inconvenience to other guests staying at the same hotel.”
RM says fans outside hotels are disturbing members and other guests
On October 8, RM posted a message on Weverse to BTS fans. The leader of the global K-pop phenomenon stated, as per ChosunBiz, “We are now in Peru. It’s my first time coming to Peru in my life, so I’m very excited and happy.”
He then pointed that fans staying outside the hotel for long periods had been causing inconvenience. RM said, “It’s the same in Colombia, and the members and staff are having a very hard time because people are stationed in front of the hotel where we are staying all day long. It’s noisy even inside the rooms, so everyone can’t sleep well. In addition, we are causing great inconvenience to other guests staying at the same hotel.”
RM acknowledged the warm welcome and passion shown by fans. He said the group appreciated their support. However, he explained that a lack of rest and sleep could affect BTS’ performances.
RM then asked fans not to continue waiting outside the hotel. He made the request not only to fans in Lima but also to those in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. He also extended the request to fans in the various Asian countries BTS plans to visit later. He urged them to avoid gathering in front of the hotel.
BTS has reunited on stage after the group’s seven members have completed their mandatory military service. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are now performing together again. The South American leg of the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ kicked off on April 9. On October 7, BTS performed its first-ever concert in Peru.
