Travis Kelce had one hilarious complaint about a Halloween display featuring himself and Taylor Swift. The elaborate figures recreated the couple using hay and painted details. Kelce questioned why Swift’s figure appeared noticeably cross-eyed.
Travis Kelce questions why Taylor Swift figure looks cross-eyed
The Taylor Swift Halloween display featured figures called “Haylor Swift” and “Travis Kelc-Hay.” Swift’s figure wore a painted outfit inspired by her Eras Tour look. Kelce’s figure appeared beside her wearing his Kansas City Chiefs uniform.
Kelce reacted to the display during the October 7 episode of New Heights. He hosts the podcast with his older brother, Jason Kelce. “Oh my f—ing gosh!” Kelce exclaimed after seeing the creation.
Jason called the Travis Kelce Halloween display “pretty cool” during their discussion. However, Travis immediately noticed something unusual about Swift’s hay figure. “Why’d they have to make my wife cross-eyed?” he asked.
Jason agreed that the figure’s eyes appeared somewhat crossed. He suggested that Swift might have been “about to sneeze.” Kelce then explained why the unusual detail could actually make sense.
“She does go cross-eyed before she sneezes,” Kelce admitted. Jason responded with another joke about the occaisonal expression. The brothers continued laughing about the quirky Taylor Swift hay figure.
Kelce also wondered what would happen to the hay after Halloween. “Is this gonna end up being hay that’s fed to cows?” he asked.
Jason reassured him by joking that edible paint probably exists. Their conversation became another playful moment on the podcast. The display also inspired the nickname Haylor Swift for the couple.
The brothers also praised a baby dressed as their mother, Donna Kelce. The costume featured her famous split Chiefs and Eagles jersey. Travis called the adorable tribute “iconic” and praised the baby’s mother.
For now, Kelce’s biggest issue with the Taylor Swift Halloween creation remains its eyes. His playful reaction added another memorable moment to New Heights. The unusual Travis Kelc-Hay display certainly earned his attention.
