Fabio Lanzoni has a clear message for people who spend too much time online. The ’90s heartthrob believes social media can pull people away from real life. He says people should focus on themselves, spend time outdoors, and enjoy the present.
Fabio calls social media “such a waste of time” and warns people are missing out on “real life”
Lanzoni shared his thoughts with OK! while attending a book launch in New York City on Sept. 23. He said people should focus on growing “mentally and spiritually” instead of watching what others post. “It’s such a waste of time,” he said about social media. Lanzoni also questioned why people share details like where they eat when “most of the people don’t really care.”
The model believes too much screen time can make people lose touch with their lives. “Today people don’t live a real life anymore,” he said. Lanzoni warned that people may later wonder, “What happened to my life?” He blamed too much time spent “in front of a video, in front of the computer, in front of the phone.”
Lanzoni also shared what helps him clear his mind. “I love to be in nature. I’m one with nature,” he said. He believes nature can relax people and help them disconnect from daily problems. “Nature relaxes you,” Lanzoni explained, adding that it can help people “refresh your mind and rejuvenate yourself.”
Fabio Lanzoni said younger people need guidance because they can lose sight of real life. “They don’t know where they are,” he said, adding that people should become the best version of themselves. He also urged people to accept change, stay confident, and avoid becoming a “carbon copy” of someone else. “Live your life right now,” Lanzoni said, sharing his advice to enjoy life “day by day.”
