Heard appeared to have embraced a slower routine in Spain after years of intense public attention. She had also focused heavily on raising her three children away from the entertainment spotlight.

Heard shared a photo from El Celler de Can Roca in Girona on September 30. The restaurant’s festival menu cost €315 per person, according to the Daily Mail. She smiled while looking through the restaurant’s extensive wine list. “Now this is my kind of wine list,” Heard captioned the Instagram post.
The outing offered a glimpse into the private routine she built after leaving Los Angeles. Heard moved to Spain following her highly publicized 2022 defamation case against ex-husband Johnny Depp. She first settled in Majorca before moving to Madrid with daughter Oonagh. Reports later said she bought a €1.5 million home in the Chamartín district.
The five-bedroom property reportedly featured a garden and three bathrooms. Neighbors also described Heard as keeping a low profile while becoming part of the community. Her family remained at the center of that quieter life. Heard welcomed Oonagh in 2021 and later announced twins Agnes and Ocean in 2025.
“Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang,” she wrote in her Mother’s Day announcement. She also described motherhood “by myself and on my own terms.” Heard had previously said the move allowed her to focus on motherhood without the same legal pressures. She later returned to acting onstage in Spirit of the People at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Her Instagram activity remained sporadic, making each update feel like a small window into her life. In June, she shared a photo after completing Madrid’s KLM Norte Sur 10K with Oonagh. The latest post suggested Heard had continued settling into Spain. Away from Hollywood’s noise, she appeared to have found room for family, fitness and the occasional very fancy dinner.
