A new court filing added another complication to the legal dispute involving Tom Sandoval, Victoria Lee Robinson and her father, Will Robinson.
Attorney Cory Weck asked the court to let him stop representing Will. Weck cited problems with communication between them.
Victoria Lee Robinson’s restraining order battle with Sandoval has been rocked by a new court filing
Weck filed his request on September 28. He represented Will in the restraining order dispute involving Sandoval.
“There has been an irreparable breakdown in the attorney/client communications and I can no longer represent J. Will Robinson,” Weck stated.
Weck also claimed he had repeatedly tried to contact Will. However, he said he had not obtained Will’s consent to withdraw from the case. The court will address the request during an October 1 trial-setting conference.
As per Us, the legal dispute stemmed from an alleged June 3 confrontation in Los Angeles. Sandoval later obtained a temporary restraining order against Victoria and Will.
Sandoval accused Victoria Lee Robinson of verbally and physically attacking him. He claimed the argument began after he accused her of recording him without permission.
Sandoval also alleged that Will intervened and grabbed his arms and shoulders. He said he pushed Will away to create distance.
“[Will] was the first person to put his hands on me,” Sandoval claimed.
Sandoval further alleged that Victoria struck his face near his temple. He claimed the alleged hit blurred his vision and caused medical symptoms for weeks.
Police later arrested Victoria in connection with the incident. She left custody on bond that same day.
Footage showing part of the confrontation later surfaced. The video appeared to show Sandoval pushing Will Robinson into a fire pit. Sandoval argued that the footage lacked context.
Victoria and Will then sought separate restraining orders against Sandoval. The court denied both requests at that stage and left them for a future hearing.
Will presented a different account of the confrontation. He claimed he saw Sandoval overpowering his daughter and intervened. Will alleged that Sandoval then pushed him into a stone-lava rock fire pit. He claimed the fall ruptured a disk in his back.
In an August filing, Sandoval accused Will of minimizing Victoria’s behavior. He also alleged that the father and daughter worked together to keep him in the relationship and have him financially support them.
Victoria denied Tom Sandoval’s allegations. She instead accused him of abusing her during their relationship and said she wanted to move forward with her life.
Her attorney said her court filings told a different story from public reports. Sandoval’s representative also rejected Victoria’s allegations and maintained that Sandoval had evidence supporting his account.
Both sides continued to dispute what happened as the court prepared to consider Weck’s request to stop representing Will.
