According to TMZ’s coverage, as per the attorney Nisan Thomas, family sources told his office that Joshua Jackson had concerns about Richard, Jodie’s brother, being around his daughter Juno, whom he shares with Jodie Turner-Smith.
This happened well before three women filed a lawsuit against the actress and her brother over alleged drug-related sex parties.
The situation is that the actress and her brother, Richard, are facing a lawsuit filed by three unidentified women, identified as Jane Does. They claim that Richard pressured them to use drugs and engage in non-consensual sexual activities.
Not only that, but the lawsuit also alleges that Jodie Turner-Smith knowingly provided her brother with a place to live, money, and other support despite knowing about his alleged misconduct. Through her representatives, the 40-year-old has denied the allegations, called them false, and claimed that the lawsuit was actually filed by someone who had been harassing the actress.
According to Thomas, those sources allege that Joshua’s lawyers raised similar concerns during the former couple’s divorce and child custody proceedings. Thomas also claims that someone told him those concerns included allegations that Jodie allowed Richard to pick Juno up from school even though Richard allegedly did not have a driver’s license.
For context, neither Joshua Jackson’s representatives nor Jodie Turner-Smith has commented on the matter so far.
