Roseanne Barr needs no introduction thanks to her long career as a stand-up comedian. However, she has been making plenty of headlines recently because of her feud with Michael Fishman, and now the American actress has come forward to defend herself.
Michael Fishman apologizes for the “chaos” surrounding his feud with former Roseanne costar Roseanne Barr
Actor D.J. Conner from Roseanne recently shared an Instagram video in which Michael Fishman apologized for the “chaos” surrounding his feud with his former Roseanne co-star Roseanne Barr.
Fishman said, “I know that there has been a lot of chaos over the course of the past week. I’ve heard from a lot of you, feel like your TV family is fighting.”
“I had the privilege of growing up with so many of you or around so many of you. And the truth is, I’m gonna keep pushing out love and light because it’s the path that I’ve chosen over the years.” He added.
Later, actor continued, “Our show has been a comfort show for you. So I want you to know we’re not going to ruin it. I’m going to do whatever I can to uphold that legacy and make sure it stays with you.”
He captioned the video as, “Gentle reminder to shine. We find our way home and back together.”
For context, the recent feud between Roseanne Barr and Michael Fishman began in September 2026, after Roseanne used highly insulting language toward Michael during a podcast. Michael fueled the dispute by sharing an Instagram video in August 2026. Barr then escalated the dispute further when a clip from her Can’t Be Censored podcast went viral in late September 2026.
During the September 2026 podcast, Roseanne Barr was asked about 44-year-old’s comments and called him a “brainwashed bigot,” an “ignoramus,” and a “worm,” while also directing profanity at him. Michael Fishman later responded with a video on social media and tried to calm the situation.
