Jamie Foxx joked that he’s “still got it” while talking about becoming a father again at 58. The Grammy winner, who famously portrayed Ray Charles in the 2004 biographical film Ray, is expecting his third child with his 31-year-old girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp.
Jamie Foxx talks about becoming a dad again on Jimmy Kimmel’s show
During a September 22 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel noted that Foxx had “a baby coming.” To which the actor responded with a laugh, “Still got it.” And added, “[I’m] about to be back in the drop-off line. I wasn’t on the fence about it, but being 58, you know what I’m saying?”
Foxx, who suffered a severe brain bleed that led to a stroke in April 2023, also revealed that he spoke with Al Pacino. The actor welcomed his son Roman with Noor Alfallah in June 2023, at the age of 83. Foxx said, “I did run into Al Pacino, so if I was ever on the fence, I wasn’t on the fence when I talked to him. I was like, ‘Al, what’s up?’ [He said] ‘Ah, Jamie, good to see ya. I was worried about ya, Jamie.’ [He told me] ‘I’m having a baby.'”
Foxx went on to recall asking Pacino how old he was. When Pacino said he was 84, Foxx joked that he would be 84 years old in the school drop-off line. The Godfather star responded by saying that he would be “84 years old, back in the drop-off line” and that “every time I get out, they pull me back in.”
Foxx and Huckstepp were first linked in August 2023 after they were spotted at Nobu in Malibu. They split in January 2025 but reportedly reconnected months later. The baby will be his first child with Huckstepp, a fitness model. He is also the father of daughters Corinne, 32, whom he shares with ex Connie Kline, and Anelise, 18, whom he shares with ex Kristin Grannis.
