Simone Biles says a frightening incident happened at her Chicago home earlier this year. The Olympic gymnast recently shared an update about the experience. She revealed that masked men took her Porsche during the incident. Biles said the situation still feels like a story she may explain later.
Simone Biles says three masked men stole her Porsche GTS from her Chicago home
Biles shared the news on TikTok on Monday, September 21, while getting ready to buy another car. She said three masked men came to her Chicago house during the couple’s final months there. “I feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche. Stole the GTS,” she said. Biles confirmed that the car was later recovered.
Biles called the incident a “story for another time” as she spoke while doing her makeup. She also joked that she needs a “reality TV show” because unusual situations keep happening to her. “The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity,” she said. She captioned the post, “yes we recovered the car, onto the next,” as she prepared to get her new vehicle.
The gymnast also explained why she and her husband, Jonathan Owens, have a Doberman. “That is one of the reasons why we also got our Doberman,” Biles said about the guard dog. The couple experienced another troubling incident while visiting Milan for the 2026 Winter Olympics. Owens said on X on February 15 that someone nearly pulled his shopping bag from his hands.
He said he had tied the bag around his hand, preventing the person from taking it. “Not somebody just tried to snatch my shopping bag in Milan, force of habit i had it tied around my hand so he couldn’t get it and took off running immediately….but still crazy,” he wrote. Biles did not share more details about the Chicago incident.
