Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Wants to Flip the Script on Famous Parents

Cori Broadus, daughter of Snoop Dogg, has revealed that she does not want to go down the beaten track as a nepo baby.

Instead, Cori has revealed that financial independence is next on her radar.

Cori Broadus explains why financial independence is the next step in her definition of success

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Cori opened up about what financial independence means to her as the daughter of a celebrity.

“Success is no longer asking mommy or daddy for money,” Cori said. “You know, being able to be like, ‘I want to go to Bora Bora tomorrow,’” she added. “And I’m able to pay for it, get play, get the house, get the whatever that comes with it.”

Beyond being able to afford her own expenses, Cori wants to reach a point where she can give back to her parents. “I’ve been grateful enough to have mom and dad support, and I’m always appreciative of that,” she said. “But I think that will be success for me—not having to depend on them financially and being able to do for them, ‘Where y’all want to go, what do y’all want to do? Let’s make it happen.’”

As one of the ways to get there, Cori has launched her new cosmetics brand, AFTXR, and is also pursuing a DJ career.

Cori also wants to show girls who look like her or have autoimmune diseases that they are enough. Cori has navigated lupus and suffered a stroke in 2024.

She also added, “The sky’s the limit, and go after everything.”

Cori also acknowledged that society can make people feel pressured to look or behave a certain way. Cori said, “I feel like society makes you feel like you have to look a certain way and be a certain way. And I’m always team authenticity.”

As for her cosmetics brand, Cori hopes anyone who uses her products feels empowered and comfortable with who they are.
