Chris Harrison returns to dating shows with The Vow five years after leaving The Bachelor
The Vow will premiere on Fox Nation on November 11, according to Variety. The six-episode series will release on a weekly basis through its December 9 finale. Harrison will guide one bachelor through a search for lasting love.
The series centers on 30-year-old Jace Cates and ten women seeking marriage. Its premise focuses on shared values, faith, communication, and long-term relationship goals. The show aims to explore connections beyond modern dating’s fleeting nature.
Harrison addressed his return through a statement about the new dating series. “I’m so excited to be back helping people find love,” he said. He also praised Fox Nation as an “incredible partner” behind the project.
The former Bachelor host also described the show’s inspiration and central question. “We were inspired by the faith-driven renaissance happening across America,” Harrison said. He added that The Vow asks whether genuine love remains possible today.
The series also carries several connections to Harrison’s history. Sean and Catherine Lowe will appear on the new dating show. Their relationship began during The Bachelor Season 17 in 2013.
Several other Bachelor alumni are involved behind the scenes on The Vow. Louis Caris serves as executive producer on the series. Elan Gale is a consulting producer, while Lindsay Liles handles casting.
Harrison’s wife, Lauren Zima, is also among the executive producers. Lionsgate Alternative Television executives Nicholas Capris and Tom Huffman also produce. Michael Shea serves as director of the new Fox Nation series.
Harrison hosted The Bachelor and its spinoffs from the franchise’s 2002 beginning. He departed the franchise in 2021 following controversy surrounding his comments. His new role marks his return to a familiar television format.
