Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews & Mayci Neeley reunite with Demi Engemann following their messy MomTok fallout
Whitney shared a TikTok featuring the group on Tuesday, September 15. The women gathered ahead of the Dancing With the Stars season 35 premiere. Whitney was supporting Conner, who competed with professional partner Adele Zaikman. She captioned the post, “MOMTOK RIDES AT DAWN!!”
Whitney also wrote, “Mommy needed some back up ??,” alongside the video. Demi appeared alongside current and former MomTok members. The gathering marked an unusual reunion for women connected through The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Conner and Adele were later eliminated first during the premiere.
Demi left Mormon Wives during production on its fourth season. Her exit followed scrutiny surrounding her experience with Marciano Brunette. Demi previously accused Marciano of “unwanted touch” while filming Vanderpump Villa in Italy. Marciano later sued Demi, alleging that her claims damaged his reputation.
The lawsuit was settled outside court in August. A spokesperson said Demi, Jeff Jenkins Productions, and Marciano reached an agreement. The parties agreed that there would be no further comment about the matter. Demi had appeared during the first three seasons of Mormon Wives.
The reunion also comes after other major MomTok changes. Whitney announced her departure after the show’s fifth season. Mikayla recently confirmed that she was leaving during Season 6 production. She cited Taylor Frankie Paul‘s involvement as a reason for her decision.
Mikayla said she was uncomfortable participating in something that supported behavior she opposed. She referenced her experiences growing up around multiple forms of abuse. She added, “There’s no amount of money worth going against my morals.” Meanwhile, Demi’s unexpected appearance brought several former cast connections together again.
For fans of Demi Engemann and the Mormon Wives franchise, the reunion offered a notable moment. The women appeared together despite their changing relationships with the show. Their gathering also highlighted how much the original MomTok circle has shifted. It remains unclear whether Demi will return to the series.
