‘Mormon Wives’ Drops 2 Men From Season 6 After Explosive Ex Drama

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 6 is moving forward without Dakota Mortensen and Jordan Ngatikaura. The two men will not return as filming continues for Hulu’s reality series. Their exits follow major relationship drama involving the show’s returning cast. Jessi Draper confirmed their departure during a recent podcast appearance.

Jessi Draper confirmed that Dakota Mortensen and Jordan Ngatikaura are both done filming. She discussed their exits during an appearance on the Just Trish podcast. Trisha Paytas asked whether Dakota would appear in the new season. Jessi responded that neither man would be filming.

Jessi said she believed their departures made sense after their relationships ended. “Once you’re an ex, there is no need,” she explained. She also said she wanted the series to focus on its women. Jessi wished both men well as they moved forward.

The departures come after significant personal changes for both men. Dakota has been involved in a legal dispute with Taylor Frankie Paul this year. A judge reportedly ordered the former couple to stay 100 feet apart. Taylor is returning for Mormon Wives Season 6, while Dakota will not appear.

Jessi discussed her own history with Jordan. Earlier this year, she and Jordan separated. Jordan subsequently filed for divorce following their breakup. Both have since moved forward with new relationships.

Jessi is now officially dating Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa. She said she still wants Jordan to be happy for their child’s sake. However, she does not believe he needs to continue filming. Her comments came as the show’s cast undergoes several changes.

Another cast member recently confirmed her departure from the series. Mikayla Matthews said she quit after Taylor’s return was announced. Her decision adds another major change ahead of the new season. Meanwhile, filming for the Hulu reality show remains underway.

The latest casting update changes the roles of the men around the central cast. Dakota and Jordan both had connections to major storylines. Their absence could shift how those relationships appear onscreen. The upcoming season will reveal how the remaining cast handles the changes.
