Lady Gaga has reportedly thrown herself completely into motherhood. A new source claims the singer spends nearly all her time with her baby and has little interest in being apart. The update comes days after reports confirmed Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky welcomed their first child. However, the couple has kept major details about the baby private.
Lady Gaga reportedly ‘never leaves’ her baby and stays in the nursery because she doesn’t want to miss a moment
A source told the Daily Mail that the baby is already a few months old. The insider claimed Lady Gaga had quietly been a mother for some time while staying at her private Marin County home.
“She never leaves the baby,” the source claimed, apart from quick errands.
The insider added that Lady Gaga spends much of her time in the nursery because she does not want to miss a moment. The source also claimed she frequently holds the baby as she focuses on bonding.
A separate People report painted a similar picture. Its source said Lady Gaga is enjoying time away from the spotlight and “doesn’t want to miss any of it.”
Polansky is reportedly just as involved. The source described him as attentive with the baby and said the couple is navigating parenthood together. Motherhood has been a long-standing goal for Lady Gaga. She discussed having children with Polansky in early 2025, saying she felt “ready.”
Later, during an interview with Stephen Colbert, Lady Gaga called becoming a mother her “next starring role.” The singer wrapped her Mayhem Ball tour in April and then largely stepped away from public life. That absence even fueled wedding speculation around her relationship with Polansky.
Now, her priorities reportedly look very different. The Daily Mail source claims Lady Gaga currently prefers staying home with her baby, though she may eventually travel to New York so family members can meet the child.
For Lady Gaga, the reported intensity fits something she has discussed for years: making family a central part of her life.
