Charlotte was walking toward the house when she appeared to stumble and damage her shoe. The unexpected problem made it difficult for her to continue walking normally, according to LADbible.
Host Will Best initially stepped in to help with the shoe. However, Charlotte soon decided on a much simpler solution. As cameras briefly moved away, viewers could hear her explaining how to remove her prosthetic legs. She later reappeared alongside Best and AJ Odudu without them.
“My shoe came off,” Charlotte explained before adding, “I had to take my legs off.”
Odudu quickly reassured the new housemate that she did not need to apologize. The live audience also cheered as Charlotte continued her entrance. The moment became even more memorable once she headed inside. Charlotte joked about entering the Big Brother house without her legs before joining her fellow contestants.

Charlotte, a student from Oxford, is a quadruple amputee. She lost both hands and both legs after contracting meningitis as a child. Before joining the show, she explained that people often find ordinary parts of her life surprising. Those include cooking, getting dressed and doing her makeup.
Charlotte also revealed how expensive her prosthetic legs are. She said each one costs around £25,000. If she wins, she plans to put a large portion of the prize money into savings.
