The couple recently entered a family-focused chapter after photographers spotted Sweeney on a smoothie outing with Braun and two of his children in Los Angeles. Their relationship grew serious after they sparked romance rumors in June 2025.

Celebrity matchmaker April Davis said their shared lifestyle could help them navigate the pressures of fame. However, she sees obstacles. “Sydney is incredibly successful, and being with someone like Scooter who understands paparazzi hounds and media buzz can make things easier,” Davis told Fox News Digital.
“That said, they’re in pretty different places in life. Scooter already has three children and Sydney’s career is still taking off in a major way. Add in the age difference, travel, and demanding schedules, and there’s a lot of moving parts for them to navigate.”
Davis identified their packed schedules as the biggest concern. “I think making their already-full lives work together will be the biggest challenge for Sydney and Scooter,” she said. “Plenty of power couples make it work, but it takes real communication skills, effort, and time.”
Meanwhile, psychotherapist Robin Hamilton urged the couple to protect Braun’s children from celebrity pressure. She said parents should treat children as individuals who never chose public attention.
Relationship expert Nicole Moore also highlighted the importance of maintaining romance while spending more time with the children. She suggested date nights could help Sweeney and Braun avoid letting family responsibilities consume their relationship.
Sweeney continues to build a major acting career, while Braun has three children from his previous marriage to Yael Cohen. That difference could shape their future if anyone expects Sweeney to take on a parental role.
