Alix Earle opened up about a difficult personal chapter in her new Netflix reality series, Earle Meets World.
The influencer filmed the show shortly after her breakup from NFL player Braxton Berrios. While millions already knew Earle through TikTok, the eight-episode series followed parts of her life that she said became much more emotional than she expected.

Earle, 25, said filming captured several major changes in her personal and professional life.
She had recently finished second on Dancing with the Stars when production began. Later episodes also followed her preparations to launch her skincare brand, Reale Actives.
However, her breakup became one of the season’s most personal storylines.
“I went through so many emotions throughout the four or five months we were filming,” Earle told PEOPLE.
She said talking openly about the split sometimes helped her process what she felt.
“It was just quite therapeutic to just sometimes voice it and say it out loud and really go through it,” she said. “But I definitely cried a lot during the season. I didn’t know I was capable of crying that much.”
Earle Meets World also expanded beyond Alix Earle and followed her sister Ashtin as she considered changing the direction of her career.
The series brought the wider Earle family into the spotlight as well. They discussed past family tensions and the media attention surrounding their parents’ divorce and stepmother Ashley Dupré.
Alix said filming those conversations felt intimidating but gave the family a chance to tell its own story.
“This is our story, this is who we are. We are not perfect all the time, but this is our reality,” she said.
The process did not always go smoothly. Ashtin admitted the family once feared filming could damage their relationships.
“I think there was a point halfway through the season when we were filming, [and] we were like, ‘This is going to tear our family apart,’” she said.
Instead, both sisters said the experience forced them to address issues directly and ultimately brought the family closer.
All eight episodes of Earle Meets World became available to stream on Netflix.
