Kyle Richards offered a reassuring update on sister Kim Richards after their messy eviction battle. Despite the legal drama, the RHOBH siblings appeared to have put the family feud behind them.
The update came after Kim made a rare public appearance near Santa Monica. It also followed reports that Kyle had helped her older sister find a new home near the beach.
Kyle Richards addressed her relationship with Kim Richards after the eviction lawsuit
TMZ reported that Kyle spoke with a photographer at LAX on Tuesday. She said Kim was “doing okay” and “better” than when she filed the eviction lawsuit in January 2025. Kyle also emphasized that her sister remained surrounded by family. She said Kim “has a big family that loves her very much.”
That sentiment came weeks after Kim was spotted barefoot in a Santa Monica park. She had been painting on a bench while one of her dogs stayed nearby. The unusual outing naturally sparked questions about her circumstances.
However, sources familiar with Kim’s situation told the outlet there was no cause for alarm. Kyle had reportedly helped Kim secure another place in the neighborhood near the beach. Kim also remained close with her four children, Brooke, Whitney, Chad and Kimberly.
The sisters’ latest update offered a much softer picture than their 2025 legal fight.Kyle filed the lawsuit after asking Kim to leave her two-bedroom Encino condo. Kim never responded to the case, leading to a default judgment in March 2025.
Court records later showed the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve Kim with the judgment. By then, she had already left the property. Kyle subsequently regained possession of the condo.
The eviction case came amid a difficult period for Kim. The family had reportedly adopted a “tough love” approach following concerns about her wellbeing. Kyle and Kathy Hilton later said during the RHOBH Season 14 reunion that Kim was living in Florida and “doing better.”
Now, Kyle’s comments suggested the lawsuit belonged firmly in the past. For these Real Housewives sisters, family apparently remained stronger than one very complicated condo dispute.
