Meanwhile, Styles had to deal with plenty of attention from fans and friends. “At the end of the day, Taylor and Harry’s brief relationship seems like a lifetime ago now. It was over extremely quickly, and Taylor got her closure through writing those songs and eventually learning to laugh about it all,” the insider said.
Harry, however, had a different experience after the breakup. “Because serious trolling from the Swifties on social media at the time and a lot of teasing from his friends which grated on his nerves, big time,” the source explained.
The insider said it “went away eventually” and that Harry is “pretty cool with Taylor these days.” Neither star seems to hold a grudge, and both have moved on with their lives while maintaining respect for each other.
“Both view each other as major talents and decent people deep down,” the insider said. “That’s the bottom line, as well as the fact they’re totally at peace right now whilst planning out the rest of their lives with their chosen soul mates.”
Although fans may still wonder about what Taylor and Harry could have been, the source suggests the former couple has long since made peace with their brief romance. Swift found closure through her music, while Styles eventually left the teasing and online drama behind.
