Hailey Glassman revealed she is in a lavender marriage while discussing her relationship with the cast members in the trailer. Her husband, however, will not appear in Season 16.
Glassman explained the arrangement, prompting Jessel Taank to respond, “What is a lavender marriage?”
Glassman added, “I sleep with women intimately as well.” In another scene, Sai De Silva was asked, “Your husband is OK with that?”
Glassman has not revealed her husband’s identity. According to Bravo TV, Glassman described her husband as a descendant of the “first Jewish settlers on Martha’s Vineyard.” Hailey added, “He wasn’t willing to compromise. He didn’t want to ruin his family’s legacy.”
She said, “We’ve known each other since he was 12 years old. We were neighbors in Martha’s Vineyard, and we met at sailing camp. We go back and forth and spend the summers out there. I just like living on a yacht or in the water and just hanging out and smoking joints.”
Glassman added, “And I’m on the board of charities and play tennis. And my work life, to be honest, has been stressful. I used to look forward to Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Thursdays and Fridays. And now, I don’t. But it’s fun.”
Though she did not reveal when and how they got married, she shared that her husband has “a really big business” on Martha’s Vineyard. Her unconventional and mysterious husband became a topic of conversation among cast members in RHONY. Glassman is the newest addition to RHONY and will make her debut in Season 16.
