Lady C claimed the couple’s relationship has been “very volatile.” She also alleged that they could settle into a marriage where they spend significant periods apart. According to the royal commentator, Harry could remain in the UK with the couple’s children. Markle, meanwhile, could travel between Britain and the United States.
Lady C also made an unverified claim about Harry’s personal life. She said she had been told he had “developed a close friendship with another woman” in California. She suggested that, if the claim were true, it could give Meghan an additional reason to want him based in Britain. There is no independent evidence supporting that allegation. It remains Lady C’s claim and should not be treated as a fact.
Still, rumors about the Sussexes’ marriage have persisted for years. The “Spare” author has previously dismissed speculation about a divorce in December 2024. At the time, he mocked the claims and said he felt “sorry for the trolls.”
