Clarkson said, “A lot has happened in my personal life, and a lot has happened in life for everyone. There’s not been one normal season.”
“I think that saved me, honestly, a lot of times [and] I think this show has made everyone better at what they do,” she added.
In the 11-minute-and-31-second YouTube video, Kelly Clarkson explained how the show was built around her to reflect who she is. She also said that the show is about connection because Clarkson has always been a connector.
The Kelly Clarkson Show began on September 9, 2019, with the famous American Idol first winner taking on the role of host. The show started in Los Angeles, and its first season successfully won a place in viewers’ hearts. During the fourth season, Clarkson moved to New York because of changes in her personal life, and the show then began filming at NBC Studios – Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
