Britney Spears’ Love Life Just Took a Surprisingly Definitive Turn

Britney Spears isn’t feeling overwhelmed with loneliness. The “Toxic” singer confessed that she loves the single life and doesn’t want to date anyone.

Britney Spears says she’s happy being single after a recent blind date

In a Tuesday Instagram post, Spears declared that she is “single as can be.” She was seen dancing in a backless white gown and black heels. The singer said that she was soon going to have “dinner with friends and a blind date.” Spears was all smiles as she told her followers, “I don’t want to date anyone honestly. No thank you.”

According to Page Six, the “Oops…I did it again” singer was last romantically linked to Paul Richard Soliz. She has often spoken about the blessings of a single life.

Britney’s singlehood began after splitting from Sam Asghari. Britney Spears and Sam Asghari were together for about seven years before marrying in 2022, but the couple separated in 2023 and finalized their divorce in 2024.

Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2006. She shares sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, with him.

Spears has stated on multiple occasions that she enjoys being single. She had called herself a “hopeless romantic” but also stated that “being single is awesome.” A post of hers on Instagram declared, “Single as f–k!!! I will never be with another man as long as I live !!!” However, she had confessed that it felt “weird” not having a partner after Asghari.

The singer declared, “I’ve realized I don’t talk to myself that nicely at all … I’m easily manipulated and I wear my heart on my sleeve,” the Grammy winner continued. “But I’m definitely changing all that.”

She also told followers that she had dated “two f—king complete a–holes.”

A global pop icon, Spears rose to fame with hits like “Baby One More Time” and became one of the best-selling and most influential artists of her generation.
