According to People’s coverage, this will be the first time the 50-year-old has appeared in court following his arrest. Martin County, Fla., court records show that Tiger Woods will appear before a judge on Tuesday, September 8.
When it comes to Tiger Woods’ arrest, the golfer was arrested on March 27, 2026, in Jupiter Island, Florida. Woods was driving his Land Rover when it collided with a truck and overturned, leading police to suspect that he was driving under the influence or under the effects of another substance. Woods also refused to take a test, which led to his arrest.
At the jail, Woods underwent a breath analysis, which made it clear that he had not been drinking alcohol. However, he later refused to provide a urine sample for testing, leading police to suspect that he may have been driving after taking drugs or another substance.
Another important aspect of the case involves a deputy from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, who claimed that officers found two hydrocodone pills, a painkiller, in Tiger Woods’ pocket at the scene. After conducting a sobriety test, the deputy also said he observed “multiple signs of impairment or intoxication.”
