Miley Cyrus, her mother Tish Cyrus and sister Noah Cyrus recently reunited for a family occasion after their years-long tension. The reunion was held in honor of their grandmother, Loretta Finley. They lovingly called her “Mammie.”

Noah shared a cosy selfie of the trio on Instagram on Thursday, where she revealed that they had united to pay tribute to their grandmother, who died in 2020. The three women appeared in great spirits as they smiled for the camera, with all of them wearing black tops. Noah also used the occasion to pay tribute to her mother, writing, “celebrating mammiversary!!!”
She also added, “Thank you to our grandmother mammie for giving us our beautiful and strong mama.”
However, Miley Cyrus’s family reunion comes after years of reported tension between Tish and Noah. The rift reportedly started from Tish’s relationship with Dominic Purcell, whom she married in August 2023. At the time, reports claimed Dominic had previously been involved with Noah. PEOPLE reported that the two had been “seeing each other” and had “hooked up” before Dominic began a relationship with Tish.
An insider told the publication, “Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other, and then Tish started something up.” The source also claimed, “Tish knew he had been seeing Noah.” However, those claims were disputed, as a family insider later told DailyMail.com that Noah had “fabricated details” and had never dated Dominic.
Meanwhile, the reported tension also followed Tish’s 2022 divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus. The former couple share five children, namely Miley, Noah, Braison, Brandi and Trace. Following the split, reports claimed the siblings took different sides. Miley, Trace and Brandi leaned toward Tish, while Noah and Braison appeared closer to Billy Ray.
Furthermore, Tish and Dominic married at Miley’s home on August 19, 2023, after a year of dating. Although Miley and other family members attended, Noah and Braison were absent, further fueling speculation about a rift.
Still, things appeared to change in 2024. Now, with Miley, Tish and Noah reuniting to remember “Mammie,” the family appears to be sharing another emotional moment together.
