As per TMZ reports, Wonsley reportedly filed two new subpoenas on behalf of Nolan’s estate. One subpoena targeted Sea Tow Services International, while another involved Ward Marine Services. The latter company operates as Sea Tow Mississippi.
The subpoenas reportedly requested records covering several hours on July 4. Wonsely sought calls, recordings, dispatch records, and documents about the response. The requested timeframe reportedly ran from 2 p.m. through 8 p.m.
She also requested information identifying those who handled the response. The subpoena reportedly sought Sea Tow’s training materials and written procedures. Those materials concerned reports involving boats taking on water or sinking.
The second subpoena reportedly sought communications involving Ward Marine Services. Wonsley requested dispatch calls connected to the incident. She also sought communications involving the captain, local crew, and people connected to the boat.
The records could potentially provide more information about the response. Wonsley also wanted communications that discussed the incident afterward. The subpoena reportedly requested records showing whether the response changed or ended.
Wonsley had already pursued other records while investigating Nolan’s final movements. She previously subpoenaed social media information and location data. Those requests formed part of her broader effort to reconstruct his final hours.
Nolan disappeared on July 4 near Horn Island, Mississippi. His body was discovered two days later near his last known location. Authorities had not released his official cause and manner of death.
The latest subpoenas added marine towing records to Wonsley’s search for answers. They could provide details about calls made during the boat emergency. They may also clarify how responders handled information about the situation.
The investigation remained focused on Nolan’s final movements and communications. Wonsely continued pursuing records that could shed light on the circumstances. The requested Sea Tow information represented another step in that effort.
